Day 01

It was harder than I thought saying goodbye.
J was still asleep so Tommy didn't wake him up which broke my heart even more that he didn't get to see his Daddy before he left.
I have had 5 breakdowns so far.
But now I think I'm just tired and ready for him to arrive at his hotel tonight.
Hopefully today was the hardest out of the many to come.

But on a good note ;)
I finally have 20 lovely followers!!!
Thank you everyone for your support!

Stomach is turning

Tomorrow is the day.
The day that I start counting.
The day we all shed tears.
The day I have to prove to myself that I can make it through this.
The first day J won't get to see his Daddy
And the day where my husband is miles and miles away.

My plan
To keep my son a busy body so that I will have to be also.
Maybe get a part time job when I go back to Texas.
Get my Partylite business running like crazy!
Focus my life on God!!!!
Join my parents church choir while I'm there (I miss singing)
And have a SMOKIN HOT body when he returns.
Yes, I want to be a hot mom haha ;)
And do my best to make sure J remembers his Daddy when he returns!

I can do this!

Melting Pot!!!

Oh My Gosh!!!
Absolutely amazing!
We were able to go on a double date lastnight...(only our 2nd with out the baby)
This is a place that you would only go once or twice a year...
but the Melting Pot...it's great!
We had the "Date Night" special
how it works is you have fondue pots in front of you and for your appetizer you pick which cheese dip you would like then they give you bread, veggies, apples, and chips to dip in it!
Then you get any salad you choose..
then comes the meal....nothing is cooked because you cook it yourself in the pot in which you choose which sauce to cook your food in. It's absolutely amazing!
Then comes the best part...
Dessert!!
Cheesecake, bananas, strawberries, rice crispies, brownies, pound cake, and marshmellows (graham cracker covered and oreo covered!)
All in which you get to dip in your choice of chocolate!!!

We chose Yin Yang...

and the Flaming Turtle!
Chocolate, Caramel, and Pecans

What's the result....two happy, stuffed people haha.
If you haven't been there I suggest you try it!

Good or bad timing?!?!

So this might be a little too much information. But hey, were all here to support eachother right?
Well my hubby and I have been married a little over 3 years.
We started our marriage on a rough note...and haven't really reached a high point..
until this week.
And guess what...he leaves in 2 weeks for deployment.
On one end I'm upset because we only have a few more days to really get this going right...
then I'm excited cuz it means the next 7 months he's gone...it won't be awkward cuz were happy.
I wanna jus take the next two weeks slow and have a blast
but it's hard not to count down the days till he leaves.
I thought it would be easier since this is our second deployment...but it's not at all.
At least I know were happy again and have alot to look forward to when he's back!!

Miracles DO happen!

So everyone that has said a prayer...THANK YOU!!
In 7 days we have watched a miracle!
Nana went from being paralyzed and on a resperator to breathing by herself and moving her
neck, fingers, feet, and toes!!!
She is moving her lips as if she wants to speak but still hasn't been able to say anything.
My husband was given emergency leave (Thanks Lord)
So he is there with her watching her progress!
Keep praying for her and that she doesn't have another stroke and that God fully heals her!
Thank you again everyone!

Do you believe in prayer?

So my husband's Nana went in for surgery yesterday morning for her back and neck.
She came of out the surgery and everything went great except they couldn't fix 2 plates out of 5 in her spine.
They took her to recovery and about 45 minutes later she had a massive stroke.
At first they didn't know what was wrong until they did an MRI.
She is on a resperator now and things are not looking good.
Please pray for her and the family.
I'm having a hard time with this because I just happened to be in town for my brother's wedding and my husband is back home by himself trying to deal with this.
Reason why it's more difficult...
Tommy's papa passed away a week before my husband deployed last time and they wouldn't allow him to come down. Now he deploys in 3 weeks and the same thing is happening all over again.
Prayers, Prayers, Prayers
