Valentine's Birthday!!!

So this is the first year that I am extremely excited for Valentine's Day!!!

For those of you that don't know...that's also my Birthday!

Every year I celebrate my birthday instead of going on a date.

This year...were having my party on Saturday so that on Valentine's Day I can actually go on a date with my hubby!!! Yay!!

On Saturday were going to go out to eat then to an outdoor ice skating rink!

I can't wait!!

I will take alot of pictures! The group I'm taking has either A) Never went Ice Skating before or B) Wants to sit on the side and watch so they don't embarrass themselves when they fall!

Therefore, this is going to be a BLAST!!

I'm going to make everyone try it lol!

Misery Snow

So I'm sure I'm not the only one that is sick of snow!

It's beautiful when coming down...but once it sticks, and keeps coming down, then turms to ice and snow's all over again....it's a pain in the rear!

I haven't been able to leave my house in 5 days!

Here in Misery Missouri we got 23in of snow....but with the wind it stacked up around my house about 3-4ft high. 

We took 20 minutes to go out and play and try to catch a few photos...

but I'm not a huge fan of it, especially since we don't have J the proper winter clothes. We just put about 3 layers on him haha.

We weren't supposed to have anymore snow until Sunday....but lastnight when everything finally melted on the roads, it turned to ice and we got another inch (all came in while I was driving, I was terrified!).

So while I sit in my house for another day....might as well show you some pics!!

This is what we were greeted with when we opened the garage door. Snow up to my hip!

He would tap the snow to get just enough on his gloves to eat hahaha.

The hubby dug a whole to have a seat while shoveling the snow, so we used it as a cubby hole to play in!

This was 2 minutes in and he was freezing already lol!

Brides, Brides, BRIDES!!!!

WOW!!

Today has been crazy in soo many ways!

I got to set up a Partylite booth at a Bridal Show today and it was alot of fun!

I was extremely nervous since this was my first time, but I got warmed up after about the 6th bride came by hahaha. It's crazy to see the different ages that came in and then to see their wedding date.

Alot were getting married in October...but then you saw the couples that just got engaged and were getting married in March!

Talk about a rush lol!

It was awesome to see their future Husband's there too!!!

Of course they all flew to the food/music booths, but seriously?? Props to them for coming because I know my husband would HATE it if I made him come along lol.

Now that I'm home and exhausted and FREEZING!!!

I am running on 5 hours of sleep, and were about to have a huge ice/snow storm the next few days.

So I will be in my home...catching up with these brides and entertaining my son till we can even try getting out of the house on Wednesday.

Just to clarify!

In my last post about me wanting a job...

I wanted to make sure noone thought I was getting a job so I can be away from my son.

I have always had a job since I was 16 and now being home for 2 years is a total change.

I want to be home with my son and teach him myself until he goes into Kindergarten.

There is also part of me that wants a job, not just for play money, but so we can be financially stable instead of living check to check.

Now, I have realized that next month when we recieve our taxes...we will be fine. We don't plan on spending the money on anything which means we get to save it all!

And no, I don't want to turn around and spend all that money on a daycare while I go to school.

I was just trying to get information about dental assistants if you are one...or getting advice on when to go from parents who went to school or are also planning on going once their kids are older.

Alright...enough explaining lol.

Possible Job choice....advice please!!!!

Okay, so the past couple months I have realized how being a stay at home mom is GREAT, but I really need time to myself.

I need to make my own money so I feel like I'm putting work in too, and have enough money to be able to use for our random "hey let's go to the city and shop" days!

Don't get me wrong, be a mom is a full-time job.

But I never get a break.

Were wanting to have another baby sometime this year or next.

When is it a good time to go to school?

While I'm pregnant...or after the 2nd baby is born, or now while it's just J?

I want to be a Dental Assistant!

I have thought alot about it and I think it's something I will be good at and something that I won't get bored doing or feel like I'm putting in more work than what I'm getting paid. Because, the pay is awesome!!!

Have any of you looked into that? Or are any of you in dental??

Pros and Cons please?!?!

They have a free dental class on base so I won't have to pay for school!! Woohoo!

All I have to do it decide when to go, since I will obviously have to put J (or 2nd baby) in daycare.

Only sad thing about getting this job is I have always said I NEVER wanted my child in daycare because I used to be a preschool teacher and I know how to teach him myself and want the excitement in seeing all of his "firsts".

Any advice?
