Well I have to say..this Christmas was a VERY good one! First Christmas with my parents, husband, and son all together! Couldn't have asked for a better one except to have my brothers there!

Finally back home!!

Yes, I know it's been a longgg time since I last posted.

My Husband surprised me and come to Texas for Christmas to pick me up!!!

We literally just got back home and after 4 months of being away...it's SOO nice being back!

I am tired and have ALOT to unpack so I'm going to keep this short.

Just wanted to remind you I'm still here ;)

1 more week!

The hubby gets to come get us on Thursday!!!

I'm soo excited! He will be spending Christmas with us then we head back to Missouri the next day!

We have been with his family for a few days and will be until next week.

J has latched on to Tommy's brother. (They look alike)

It sad but cute at the same time because it lets me know he will go straight to his Daddy when he see's him!

Remember me talking about his Nana having surgery then coming out paralyzed?

Well...I'm with her now and it's amazing!

She can now nod her head yes and no and hold it up. She can wave her fingers on one hand and her middle finger on the other one hahaha.

She will tense her legs up every once in awhile just to stretch.

She is fully off the breathing machine. But still on a feeding tube until she recieves a swallow test.

And did I mention she is now home?!?! 

For someone to be told they are permanently paralyzed from nose down...then be doing this..WOW!

The family has taken in alot now having to take care of her 24/7 but it's such a blessing to even still have her around when we were told she wouldn't live past 2 days. It's been 5 months and she's getting stronger every day! God your amazing and your miracle is being seen!

I will be posting a picture of her with J as soon as I get home in a few weeks!

Look at the postive

So I'm sure some of you noticed on the top of my blog I have a ticker for my weight loss progress.

I have been with a trainer for 2 months (being out for 2 weeks from surgery and then going easy for another 2 weeks) and my main goal is losing weight. If you have been keeping track you might notice it keeps jumping up and down. I haven't changed it this week because I don't weigh in until tomorrow.

Well I had a minor break down and wasn't understanding how when I work my butt off at the gym...I wasn't dropping weight like crazy. My trainer calmed me down and told me that I had...the scale won't show it though. Umm...okay...why? I gained muscle!! So if I'm staying the same weight yet I have gained 3-6 lbs in muscle...then that means I lost 3-6lbs in fat. If only the scale would say that huh lol. 

When I look at myself, I see stretch marks and baby fat left....then "bat wings" lol.

So the other day I put on jeans that I jus happened to not wear for 2 weeks and they were loose on my legs and bootie!!!!! I can't tell the difference when looking at myself but my clothes show it!   

It's nice to see a breaking point and realize that I am making a difference!

I only have 10 more workouts with him before I leave to go back home.

Makes me nervous but I do feel like I have learned alot and will be okay when I go back and keep up with the program. Of course I will need my hubby's support...but seeing this progress gives me motivation to stick with it and excited for the turn out!

3 weeks!!

Three weeks until...

J gets to see his Daddy in person again!

I finally don't have to sleep in a bed by myself...

We get to go do things as a family again!

I get to show my hubby my new body from working out!

I get to see all my friends from MO!!

I will be leaving the nice Texas weather and entering a freezer lol.

My dog will finally be in her own territory ;)

I get my business back up and running hard!

We will be going to our church after 5 months of being away!!

And we will finally get to show eachother everything God has done in our lives while being away! This marriage means so much to me and I can't wait to make a new start!

Oh...and 3 weeks until Christmas!!!! Woohoo!!

Homecoming Pics!!!

So we got to spend 2 weeks together before he had to head home (since I'm staying in Texas till my Mom recovers from surgery.)

We made the best of it and even went on a date! It was wonderful having him home.

J didn't remember him so I'm very thankful he was sent home early or it would have been worse. Luckily J warmed up fast and then wouldn't ever leave his side!!

Day 72 (Corn maze photos!!)

So I figured I would do this post today because tomorrow I will be in the hospital all day as my Mother goes through surgery. Then Thursday my Hubby arrives and that day will be another post of wonderful homecoming pictures!!! Yay!!

We discovered this corn maze online and it was very worth it!

It will be even better next time when he's a year older and Daddy can be there too!

It was HUGE!

The great thing about it because it was sooo big is it had a halfway point where you can leave the maze and go do other events or take a break then enter back at the halfway point to finsh off!

It was fun for the kids...but the driver kept running into the corn causing grass/leaves off the corn to fly into your eyes the whole ride..

I suggest you wear goggles!! Lol

I can't get this pic to stay straight up...but it's too cute not to post.

This was the baby maze and he thought it was the craziest thing and kept telling his grammie to come to him instead of him finding his way out to her haha!

YUM! They had the most amazing roasted corn there!

He enjoyed every bite of it!

He got home Saturday morning but due to my surgery and my mother's surgery coming up I wasn't able to be there so I'm just waiting for him to come see us here in Texas!!

I'm soo thankful he was sent home early!

Everything happens for a reason and I know God has a plan and will keep our marriage strong as were seperated for the next 6 weeks while I help my mom recover from surgery

It's hard to know he's home and I can't be there...

but at least he's home and safe now!

Day 68 (Halloween/ GIVEAWAY!!!!)

This year I didn't think J would have any idea what he was doing when we took him trick or treating.

But turned out he had a blast and understood every bit!

I wasn't too excited about him being a skeleton this year (it was picked out by a couple friends of ours)

But once we bought the outfit for our dog it worked out perfectly!

It was only 2 days after my surgery but I didn't want to miss this moment with J considering his Daddy couldn't be here either.

This was also his first time to eat candy. And of course, he loved it lol!

Day 65 (I'm Alive!!!)

Alright, so as you can see I'm still alive!!

I was crying my eyes out when I got out of surgery because I was so happy to still be alive and well lol. My doctor's were great and treated me very well!

I have 4 pretty bad scars (larger than expected) but it's not what is causing my pain.

They actually inflate your stomach with gases so they can see, and they didn't get all the gas out when they closed me up. I have a huge pocket right under the incision's that shoots up to my shoulder when I stand. I know each day will get better so I'm not too worried.

They found 8 gallstones the size of a pistachio....yeah HUGE lol. I got to keep 3 ;)

It's sad because I can't lift my son and he's having a really hard time with not being able to cuddle and be in my arms all the time. 

But remember how I said I have exciting news?!?!?!

Well the hubby found out about 3 weeks ago that he gets to come home 4 months early!!!!

Can't tell ya when...but it's really soon and I'm SOOO excited!

J is going to be so happy and it's going to be great having help recovering and someone to love on J when I can't.

Day 59 (not so wordless wednesday!!)

We have discovered how much J loves helping in the kitchen!

He loves to play with the dishes......while your loading them in the dishwasher lol.

He likes to stir things now as he dips his finger in and licks it....but who doesn't? ;)

And he will close the fridge and cabinets for you once you get what you need!

Very cute! And helpful! lol

By the way I have VERY exciting news....

Day 57 (nervous)

Well the day has come.

I have been scheduled for surgery and the nerves are running.

I already posted why I'm so scared so I won't say anything more lol.

Today I found out I will have 4 little scars (just to add to my birthmarks from J) haha

and I can't work out for 2 weeks...

even then can't do anything except treadmill until 4 weeks has passed.

Alot of people have said..

oh my gosh it's a common procedure nothing can go wrong your perfectly fine chill....

but everyone is different.

Surgery's can always go wrong...and being put to sleep can too.

I want to be positive for this whole thing but my nerves aren't allowing me too lol.

So prayers are very much appreciated.

I'm going to take pics of J in his halloween costume thurday and post them just in case I'm not up for it on halloween. I also have pics to post from the corn maze we went to on Saturday!! Sooo much fun! If you haven't been to one go to http://www.themaize.com/ and look for one in your area!



Day 55 (weightloss mission)

Okay so I have posted several things about trying to lose weight but only being able to lose 5lbs

and not get any further in progress.

Well, since the husband is gone..and we want to try for another baby sometime next year,

I figured now is the time to get a trainer and lose the weight before he returns and

before we try baby makin again haha.

Trainers are exspensive awesome!

Lol I have gotten my booty kicked and only been twice!

It's hardcore just wish it didn't cost soo much.

I'm only staying with him for 3 months so he can teach me all there is to know and I can memorize a workout routine that works for me.

That way once I head back home I will continue to workout and reach my goals!

My husband isn't too excited about the cost but he is happy because this is the first time I'm spending money on myself instead of everyone else.

He is glad I will gain my self-esteem back and that I will have more energy.

My self-esteem has put a huge burden on our marriage.

So I'm excited for this!

I also want my body to be in shape before I get pregnant again so that I can continue to workout during and after pregnancy and have a better result of losing the baby weight!

Hopefully this time I won't have a 10lb baby though hahaha.

Well, just thought I would let you know why I added a weightloss ticker.

Day 50!!

I feel like we have reached a big milestone!

Jayden still remembers him which is great! And were still doing great apart!

Jayden got his first haircut!

It actually wasn't that depressing lol.

We saved some hair in a baggy!

I guess the reason it wasn't too sad is because the lady only trimmed it since Jayden wouldn't sit still at all! At least he didn't cry! Just dodged her every chance he got haha.

Well, this whole blog world is getting depressing.

I rarely ever get any comments now.

Not sure why but it's sad haha.

Day 45 (Ultrasound Results..)

So as you should know already...

I was sent in on Thursday to get an ultrasound for the pain I was having in my upper back.

The results were never transferred to the base so I had to go get them myself from the hospital..

Only to find out I have "multiple" gallstones with the largest one being 9mm.

I think they meant to type .9mm....at least I hope lol.

(This isn't my gallbladder but it's an idea of what it looks like with stones)

I am stoked to actually have a doctor find results after 3 years!!!

And I won't have any more pain there!!

But I am extremely nervous.

We have always hoped I would never have to have surgery due to the fact that my body doesn't react the way it should with most meds.

Epidural- couldn't move or feel for 2 days..

Numbing/Sleeping pill for wisdom teeth removal- remember the whole thing and felt every bit

Depo shot- major migraines DAILY

bc pills- skin breaks out

So yes...I'm nervous about being put to sleep.

Everyone is different and who knows...maybe it will work just fine.

All I can do is just pray God protects me and that he guides his hands correctly.

I find out tomorrow who my doctor will be and hopefully when the surgery will be taking place.

This is one of those moments where I wish the hubby was right by my side instead of miles away overseas. Lots of prayers please.

Day 41 (Punkin Patch!!)

Today we went to my Aunt Imagene's funeral.

It's funny because two days ago I mentioned I want everything at my funeral to be pink...

then I see her...

She looked beautiful..her nails were painted pink, her lipstick was pink, her dress was pink, and her casket was pink too!!!!

Absolutely gorgeous!

After the funeral we went to the punkin patch in Floydada Texas (The pumpkin capitol of the world)

HUGE pumpkins!!!

Jayden had a blast and we even bought him a little pumpkin with winnie the pooh on it!

I will let the rest tell the story!
