Until then, this is what I'm experiencing this week while back in Missouri.

Memories, memories, memories...

~J was born here

~My first home was here, and is now destroyed and built over

~Our second brand new home is directly across the street from where I'm staying, so when I go anywhere or look out the window it instantly hits me that "I could still be there and living next to my best friend"

~All the relationships I had here have been picked up right where they left off

~Had to ride in the car with my ex husband and have lunch which had ALOT of emotions in which I'll explain in the post on Saturday.

~Being on base makes me miss being a military spouse in SO many ways.

~Driving past tons of locations bring up little memories with people and events that happened the past 5 years.

It's like going home after being gone for a very long time, it's exciting, emotional, sad, but then confusing because I don't know if I'll ever have the chance to come back to all of this. Friends are leaving this base left and right from deployments, orders, or their time being done in the military. I love this place, but it's also where I got hurt the worst. It's been a very trying week and I'm just ready to finish seeing all my friends and family and get home, but then I know I'll be crying the whole drive back because I miss everyone haha.

For those of you that have been stationed somewhere different or maybe been divorced, were you as lucky as I was with keeping most of your friendships? Did you ever get to visit again or your friends visit you?

I was at a very low point when leaving here and am now happy with my life, not angry at the people who hurt me, and ready to move on and find someone who love my son and I (if you know of anyone let me know ;)) lol but everyone here has noticed that and it shows me alot about how God has worked in my life to not be bitter. It's been 10 months, I never expected to be over this, but am so glad that I am. I'm trying my best to take all these memories in and turn them positive, just need to keep it going for 5 more days!

So I weighed in and have lost 4.6 lbs in a week! That is great considering the ONLY thing I have changed....is no stress this week!

I have picked up running everyday! The street I live in goes in a perfect square that's exactly a mile! So I'm going to see how this helps in my journey! I'm excited!

I tend to sleep in till my son wakes up which ends up being till 10...so from now on I'm waking up at 8 and going running! Gonna start my day early and hope it pays off!

When you really want something you can achieve it!

So just a little funny story...

My aunt and sister introduced me to words w/ friends and they were constantly playing when I was down visiting. My phone won't allow that app so I just ignored it but was still a little curious.

I got on my ipod and found it and started playing!!

I was starring at the screen for about 10 minutes (no joke) trying to find the first word to enter.

fyi...I haven't played scrabble in about 8 years lol.

I couldn't figure out anything!!!!

How do people play this? Am I really just that dumb?

Now, I have been going through alot the past 3 weeks.

I have yet to just sit down and cry about it all, but I know it's coming really soon.

God is going to be teaching me alot the next few months and I'm going to have to lean on him and trust him every step of the way.

My friends and family have been amazing through this, and it's bringing us all closer. Weird how bad situations can do that hahaha. But oh well, I will take it!

That nasty J word lol. Scares me, but I'm slightly excited about making my own money instead of relying on the husband for the income.

New Hair!!

Tonight is the last night to enter the lovely GIVEAWAY I have going for my 100th post!!!

I now have RED hair!!

It's brighter in person...but I love it! Still get shocked when I look in the mirror but I will get used to it! It's been 9 years since I touched my hair with anything besides scissors.

10!!!!!

I did my weigh in last Friday and if you didn't notice...I'm almost 10 lbs down from when I started back over again last month!!!! That is a HUGE accomplishment!!

I can jump on the elliptical and not count down every minute now, and the 3-3minute rounds of boxing is no longer kicking my butt....I'm pumped and when I'm done I just want to keep going!

My friends have been a huge help in this and they encourage me every time I get down about things.

But most of all, I believe in myself and push harder everytime I see something is becoming easy.

I went and bought a new pair of jeans finally!! I have lost alot of weight in the legs so all my jeans are so baggy. Went down 2 sizes!!!! And I bought a workout shirt in October, in hopes to fit into it one day....it fits now!! When I look in the mirror, I don't see changes...but these things just prove that I am making a difference.

Sooo...10 lbs down, and here's to another 10!!!!!

So, your probably wondering where I have been for awhile?!

BUT, it is amazing on the inside!!!

Multiple DVD players w/ headphones, heated seating front &back, reverse camera (my made up name for it lol) it's the tv that shows you what's behind you, shades that pull down to cover windows, automatic doors open/close, chairs fold down into floor, they also turn around and a table pops up IF you get the luxury edition, and lots more!!! Wow! Would have never guessed lol.

I do feel like a soccer mom when driving it though haha.

But we have a week to enjoy it, then back to the good ole explorer!

Day 68 (Halloween/ GIVEAWAY!!!!)

This year I didn't think J would have any idea what he was doing when we took him trick or treating.

But turned out he had a blast and understood every bit!

I wasn't too excited about him being a skeleton this year (it was picked out by a couple friends of ours)

But once we bought the outfit for our dog it worked out perfectly!

It was only 2 days after my surgery but I didn't want to miss this moment with J considering his Daddy couldn't be here either.

This was also his first time to eat candy. And of course, he loved it lol!

I will be posting pictures from our corn maze adventure this weekend!

It was soo much fun!

Day 65 (I'm Alive!!!)

Alright, so as you can see I'm still alive!!

I was crying my eyes out when I got out of surgery because I was so happy to still be alive and well lol. My doctor's were great and treated me very well!

I have 4 pretty bad scars (larger than expected) but it's not what is causing my pain.

They actually inflate your stomach with gases so they can see, and they didn't get all the gas out when they closed me up. I have a huge pocket right under the incision's that shoots up to my shoulder when I stand. I know each day will get better so I'm not too worried.

They found 8 gallstones the size of a pistachio....yeah HUGE lol. I got to keep 3 ;)

It's sad because I can't lift my son and he's having a really hard time with not being able to cuddle and be in my arms all the time. 

But remember how I said I have exciting news?!?!?!

Well the hubby found out about 3 weeks ago that he gets to come home 4 months early!!!!

Can't tell ya when...but it's really soon and I'm SOOO excited!

J is going to be so happy and it's going to be great having help recovering and someone to love on J when I can't.
