4 years already?

Well June 30th would have been our 4 year anniversary.

My friends were amazing and lifted my spirits all day long and kept me busy!

People ask "Do you feel like you wasted the past 4 years of your life?"

No, I don't.

I have a beautiful son who means the world to me and I learned so much in the good and bad experiences that came with that marriage.

I have started a new journey and looked at things differently.

Now, instead of it being "well, it would have been 4 years" I'm saying "Wow, it's been 4 years since I got to see these wonderful friends of mine, since I got to focus on me, since I got to really spend time with my family!"

I'm trying to stay positive every step of the way and yes, we have hit a few bumps along the way the past 2 months but were hanging in there!

If y'all pray I'm asking you keep J and I in your prayers for a whole week!

J goes to stay with his Daddy and his family till Monday and at first it was a good thing. I want him to know his daddy and to see him as much as possible seeing were in different states. But unfortunately this is no longer a happy time. His dad has made the decision to no longer follow God, drink, party, curse, see certain females that I won't go into detail about for the sake of their husbands, yeah...you heard me correctly lol. Not a good situation at all.

I'm nervous and disgusted that I have to leave him with him.

Good thing is I will be literally right down the street.

I don't know how J will take to his daddy after 2 months but I'm crossing my fingers things go smoothly.

But one thing I know for sure...his daddy needs my prayers and yours that he gets his life straight soon.

Now on another note: my weight hasn't changed too much because I got sick :/

I did just start on the 30 day jump start book with the biggest loser!!!

Well, kind of haha.

I started the excercises but will start the diet once I return from vacation on Monday.

If you can get this book I suggest it!!!!

I did my weigh in last Friday and if you didn't notice...I'm almost 10 lbs down from when I started back over again last month!!!! That is a HUGE accomplishment!!

I can jump on the elliptical and not count down every minute now, and the 3-3minute rounds of boxing is no longer kicking my butt....I'm pumped and when I'm done I just want to keep going!

My friends have been a huge help in this and they encourage me every time I get down about things.

But most of all, I believe in myself and push harder everytime I see something is becoming easy.

I went and bought a new pair of jeans finally!! I have lost alot of weight in the legs so all my jeans are so baggy. Went down 2 sizes!!!! And I bought a workout shirt in October, in hopes to fit into it one day....it fits now!! When I look in the mirror, I don't see changes...but these things just prove that I am making a difference.

Sooo...10 lbs down, and here's to another 10!!!!!



Birthday Weekend!

Before I post these pictures I will just warn you, my camera is MIA and so all of these were taken off my phone causing the lighting to be awful and our faces to look very...oily lol.

I have to say, this year my Birthday weekend was excellent!!

Normally there is always someone there to ruin it, or something bad happens. But this year went perfect!

Well, almost.

On Saturday we decided to go to the Cheesecake Factory to eat dinner and then head over to the Crown Center for some outdoor Ice Skating!!!

As the plan sounded great...we got there and because they don't take reservations it ended up being a 3 hour wait until we got seated. We walked around the Plaza for other restaurants but they all had the same wait time. So, we just hung out on the stairs inside the CF...seriously the place was packed, people were standing/sitting everywhere. Finally, the bartender said there were open seats at the bar to go sit and wait. So we did...and oh my, we drank and ordered appetizers! GREAT idea! It took the edge off and noone cared about waiting that long anymore.

Once we were seated the food came fast and was deeeelicious might I add, and then Rees'es Cheesecake was AMAZING!! They even sang to me and put a pink candle in the whip cream! Didn't think to take a picture until it was half eaten lol.

By the time we were done eating the Ice Skating rink was closed so we planned to go cosmic bowling.

We had a blast and all lost to my Hubby on both games lol.

This is what you get when one is going on about 8 drinks, and the other is ur tipsy husband who hates pictures. They kept saying "Our Space" and pushing my hand away when I touched the back of MY SEAT. Hahaha. Crazy guys but love them both!

Once we got home around 3am I went to pick up J at his babysitter's and this is what I walked into..

So on my actual Birthday (V-day) I decided to just relax and spend it with the hubby!

I did go to the gym though and get in a good workout!

He made me my favorite dinner and a cake!!!

I thought it was cute! AND it was CHERRY!!!!

I bought J a teddy bear for vday that he pulled off the shelf and hugged all through-out the store lol. And J picked out a gumball heart machine to give to his Daddy! Then I recieved Roses!!!

This year I am in a VERY good place with my friends! God has shown me who is in my life for the right reasons and every single one of them has a different personality and understand me in a different way! I Love all of them and am soo blessed! It took 22 years to get to this point, but I'm thankful I learned this early to let go of the one's that don't care!
