Well I have to say..this Christmas was a VERY good one! First Christmas with my parents, husband, and son all together! Couldn't have asked for a better one except to have my brothers there!

I will just let the pictures do the talking!

This took them 45 minutes to build....WOW lol

We took about 12 pics...our dog and Jayden just couldn't smile at the same time so I cropped her out and made this work haha.

Finally back home!!

Yes, I know it's been a longgg time since I last posted.

My Husband surprised me and come to Texas for Christmas to pick me up!!!

We literally just got back home and after 4 months of being away...it's SOO nice being back!

I am tired and have ALOT to unpack so I'm going to keep this short.

Just wanted to remind you I'm still here ;)

1 more week!

The hubby gets to come get us on Thursday!!!

I'm soo excited! He will be spending Christmas with us then we head back to Missouri the next day!

We have been with his family for a few days and will be until next week.

J has latched on to Tommy's brother. (They look alike)

It sad but cute at the same time because it lets me know he will go straight to his Daddy when he see's him!

Remember me talking about his Nana having surgery then coming out paralyzed?

Well...I'm with her now and it's amazing!

She can now nod her head yes and no and hold it up. She can wave her fingers on one hand and her middle finger on the other one hahaha.

She will tense her legs up every once in awhile just to stretch.

She is fully off the breathing machine. But still on a feeding tube until she recieves a swallow test.

And did I mention she is now home?!?! 

For someone to be told they are permanently paralyzed from nose down...then be doing this..WOW!

The family has taken in alot now having to take care of her 24/7 but it's such a blessing to even still have her around when we were told she wouldn't live past 2 days. It's been 5 months and she's getting stronger every day! God your amazing and your miracle is being seen!

I will be posting a picture of her with J as soon as I get home in a few weeks!

Look at the postive

So I'm sure some of you noticed on the top of my blog I have a ticker for my weight loss progress.

I have been with a trainer for 2 months (being out for 2 weeks from surgery and then going easy for another 2 weeks) and my main goal is losing weight. If you have been keeping track you might notice it keeps jumping up and down. I haven't changed it this week because I don't weigh in until tomorrow.

Well I had a minor break down and wasn't understanding how when I work my butt off at the gym...I wasn't dropping weight like crazy. My trainer calmed me down and told me that I had...the scale won't show it though. Umm...okay...why? I gained muscle!! So if I'm staying the same weight yet I have gained 3-6 lbs in muscle...then that means I lost 3-6lbs in fat. If only the scale would say that huh lol. 

When I look at myself, I see stretch marks and baby fat left....then "bat wings" lol.

So the other day I put on jeans that I jus happened to not wear for 2 weeks and they were loose on my legs and bootie!!!!! I can't tell the difference when looking at myself but my clothes show it!   

It's nice to see a breaking point and realize that I am making a difference!

I only have 10 more workouts with him before I leave to go back home.

Makes me nervous but I do feel like I have learned alot and will be okay when I go back and keep up with the program. Of course I will need my hubby's support...but seeing this progress gives me motivation to stick with it and excited for the turn out!

3 weeks!!

Three weeks until...

J gets to see his Daddy in person again!

I finally don't have to sleep in a bed by myself...

We get to go do things as a family again!

I get to show my hubby my new body from working out!

I get to see all my friends from MO!!

I will be leaving the nice Texas weather and entering a freezer lol.

My dog will finally be in her own territory ;)

I get my business back up and running hard!

We will be going to our church after 5 months of being away!!

And we will finally get to show eachother everything God has done in our lives while being away! This marriage means so much to me and I can't wait to make a new start!

Oh...and 3 weeks until Christmas!!!! Woohoo!!
